The Rocha Family
I first met Kindle a couple of years back (has it been that long already?!) and we’ve finally gotten the chance to work together to photograph her beautiful family. Kindle is an incredibly hard-working woman who not only works as a speech-language pathologist but also as the publisher and editor of East Tucson’s Macaroni Kid. Macaroni Kid is a parent’s dream resource for finding all sorts of fun activities to do with your kiddos and I highly suggest checking it out! When she’s not working, she and her handsome husband raise their two lovely little girls.
We trecked out into Saguaro National Park with me and together we braved the still chilly weather. The only one the cold didn’t seem to bother much was Emmi who was busy climbing up everything she could find. Although they were a little nervous at first (and really, who isn’t?), everyone warmed up quickly and I had to actually force myself to stop taking pictures because they all just looked so happy together.
Like I always say, I cherish memories that are realistic and authentic. I want my families to look back at their pictures years from now and feel like we captured a memory rather than just a posed picture. I feel like these images represent so much of what matters most in photography and I feel so privileged to be apart of it with the Rocha family.
