KDR Photography’s Senior Session, Peter Christensen
A few weekends ago, my team and I packed up our gear and traveled up Mt. Lemmon for a senior session. Now, I have to admit, I was nervous. Typically, I work with families, children and maternity so a session for a senior boy was something totally different.
The posing for this session was simple. It was a combination of angling Peter’s body in a way that helped to enhance his already awesome features as well as to take a step back and let his personality shine through. And I’ll be honest. Even though I was working to capture the perfect image, I was also enjoying myself immensely while talking with Peter and hearing all about his world. Peter is a self-proclaimed geek who loves to hang out in his room (mancave) and play video games. When he’s not strumming away on the guitar, he is hard at work on the football field with his team. But seriously, one of Peter’s most engaging qualities was his wonderful sense of humor. I probably scared the heck out of the squirrels around the forest with all of the laughing I was doing.
Overall, the session was fantastic and we captured some really incredible shots. It’s always such a delightful feeling when the people you work with become people that you truly care for, and this is exactly what happened with this session.
Congratulations Peter and have an awesome year!!
